On your first appointment a full case history is taken, and you are given a full examination so that we can assess the balance of all the structures within your spine and body.
Every thing discussed is dealt with in the strictest medical confidence. You will normally be asked to remove some of your clothing and perform a series of simple movements so that the mobility of your body can be assessed.
Once a diagnosis is made we will discuss with you the time scale and type of treatment necessary. Normally we would hope to see some improvement in your symptoms however depending on the circumstances if there is no change after three treatments it may be necessary to refer you back to your GP or to another specialist for further investigation.
This initial consultation, which includes treatment lasts 45 minutes. Subsequent treatments last approximately 30 minutes.
